Project Description:

E&R provided CEI services for this project which included the widening of a portion of Longleaf Pine from 2 to 4 lanes. The project limits are east of the intersection of Veterans Parkway to the existing 4-lane section at the intersection of Roberts Road. Construction included the full milling and resurfacing from the beginning of the project to east of the Roberts Road intersection and continued with milling and resurfacing of the existing 2-lane roadway while widening on the opposite side for the ultimate 4-lane section. The reconstruction included curb and gutter, closed drainage system to tie to the existing drainage trunk lines, turn lanes, median separators (concrete and grass) and new or replacement sidewalk sections and ADA ramps at driveways and intersections.
