Project Description:

E&R provided CEI services for CR 2209 from north of SR 16 to Silverleaf Parkway. This new connection improves mobility, enhances connectivity, and supports growth in one of the County’s fastest-developing areas. The new roadway alignment is 3.9 miles and includes a 4-lane divided facility with curbed median, sidewalks and a multi-use trail. Seven stormwater retention ponds were constructed; utilities included reclaimed water, force main, sewer, gas, and FLP electric and MOT included 8 phases. The 700-day project was completed ahead of schedule and was funded through the FDOT State-funded Grant Agreements.
